Explores hip anatomy, mobility, strength and control in yoga practice.

Covers common hip-related presentations, including osteoarthritis, and how individual differences in hip structure and movement capacity can influence yoga asana.

The Spine in Yoga – Part 1.  Lower Back

Explores different types of lower back pain, including non-specific pain, disc-related presentations, and nerve-related symptoms.

Covers how back pain responds to movement and how to adapt forward folds, backbends, and transitions appropriately.

Cervical and Thoracic

Explores the anatomy and function of the thoracic and cervical spine, including common musculoskeletal presentations affecting the neck and upper back.

Covers how the thoracic and cervical spine move in yoga, how different areas of the spine work together, and how to adapt relevant asana and transitions appropriately.

    Learn how to modify poses, adjust range, and adapt sequencing to support different presentations

    Be clear on when yoga can support, when to modify, and when referral to a healthcare professional is appropriate
