About Me

Hello, I’m Susie Hartnoll, a Physiotherapist with a long-standing love for yoga. I’m grateful to bring these two worlds together in my work.

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2014 with an MSc (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham, after completing a BSc Hons in Human Physiology. After graduating, I spent seven years in the NHS, gaining broad experience before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

In 2021, I moved to Australia, continuing to work in Musculoskeletal Physio in both private practice and the public healthcare system.  I now divide my time between the UK and Australia, supporting people across hospital, aged care, and private settings.

My yoga journey began back in 2004, thanks to a good friend who introduced me to the practice. I completed my first 200-hour Vinyasa Flow training in 2008, and later qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2012. From 2008 to 2014. Before working as a Physio, I taught yoga in the South West of the UK.

I’ve also had the privilege of practising Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India—a deeply meaningful experience that continues to shape my practice today.

Yoga has been an anchor and a source of connection throughout my life. For me, it’s the steady discipline of showing up — to check in, breathe, and be present.

That same approach carries into the way I work with others. I enjoy helping people feel better in their bodies — whether that’s reducing pain, recovering from injury, or staying active in ways that matter to them.

I work with a wide range of people, including those who do yoga and want to explore their practice through a physio-informed lens.
I also support anyone seeking physiotherapy, or yoga/Pilates-inspired classes that complement physio and promote long-term health and movement.
